April 25, 2004--RPM Records, Ltd. is now open in historic Maumee, Ohio and online at http://www.rpmrecordsltd.com. The vintage vinyl and CD shop brings the fun of record shopping back to the Toledo area. By offering visitors a wide selection of vintage records and a cup of gourmet coffee, owners Michelle and Eric Klinger conjure up the days of the mom-and-pop record store.

"We carry records that will satisfy both the serious vinyl collector and the person who just wants to hear classic music for less than the price of a CD," says owner Michelle Klinger. "Our goal is to offer the records you grew up with, as well as give people a chance to hear some of the best music ever made at a reasonable price."

On the web, RPM offers easy click-of-a-button ordering with an online searchable database. Don't see something you're looking for, let us know and we'll be on the lookout for it for you. Personal customer service, even on the web, is what we're all about.

For those who got rid of their turntable some time ago, RPM also sells Crosley record players, bleautiful replicas of antique turntable that match any decor. They also offer a variety of frames that are perfect for displaying treasured LP covers.

In addition, in-store RPM Records features CDs that stray from the Top 40 mainstream into genres that are all too often neglected by the major chain stores. Jazz, blues, classic country and R&B are well-represented on RPM's CD shelves. The staff knows its music, and can help you get acquainted with some things you may not have heard before.

By offering Grounds for Thought Coffee, RPM Records provides a comfortable environement to browse, grab a quick cup to go, or just hang ot for a while and listen to good music. And according to Eric Klinger, the music always comes first at RPM Records, Ltd:

"People aske me what's going to replace the CD , and I tell them that as ling as they hae a CD player, nothing. I feel the same way about Lps. I still have a record player, and these records still mean something to me. I know there are a lot of people who feel the same way, and RPM Records just gives them a comfortable, convenient place to go.
