Vintage Photo Contest Reaches 20,000 Vote Milestone
August 28, 2004 -- Over 20,000 votes have now been cast in the Vintage Photo Contest, hosted at www.VintagePhotoContest.com . The contest encourages customers to go through their shoeboxes of old photographs and enter them, along with the corresponding story behind the photograph, for a chance to win cash and prizes.
The contest, which began March 1, is scheduled to end on August 31, 2004. With just a few days to go, there are many great entries in the running for the grand prize valued at $6200 (Includes Chatterbox Inc. custom scrapbook, designed just for you, a Scrapbooking Idea Book, photo restoration service(up to 20 photos) and $2,500 cash.
The Vintage Photo Contest is sponsored by Hollywood Fotofix, Inc. As an industry leader in photo restoration services, Hollywood Fotofix hopes the Vintage Photo Contest will not only continue to get people going through their old shoeboxes full of photos, but that they'll be inspired to get any photos that are damaged restored. In addition to the Vintage Photo Contest, the company hosts a nationwide directory of photo restoration experts at www.hollywoodfotofix.com .
Having reached a milestone with 20,000 votes, and with the end of the 2004 Vintage Photo Contest just days away, the contest has proved itself a success, not only by getting people to go through their old photos and share them online, but by raising awareness in the need to restore important family photographs.
